The Star comes alive with burlesque, chef showcases and Melbourne cup fun
The Star's entertainment and dining precincts will come to life when The Star Spectacular kicks off. You'll be dazzled by burlesque dancers and enchanted by magicians. You can even sip bottomless Champagne and plan your perfect Melbourne Cup.
Black Bar & Grill will host live magicians and throughout the venue you'll find impressive acts of coordination. Each venue will come to life with live entertainment every Thursday-Sunday.
Head to this glitzy lounge bar for an exclusive whisky party on Wednesday October 11. Work your way through three different whisky cocktails, which will showcase the amber spirit. Follow it up with food including roving canapé plates and four different snack stations. The evening will be soundtracked by a live jazz band and DJs all night long.
On Wednesday October 18 Black Bar and Grill will welcome the Masterchef judge for this exclusive dinner. The three-course feast will be matched with Johnnie Walker whisky and wine.
On Tuesday October 31 Federico Zanellato (from waterfront Italian eatery LuMi) will join Balla's Gabriele Taddeucci for an Italian feast. The four-course menu will showcase both chef's Italian heritage with matching wines.
This collaboration between Scott Pickett from Melbourne’s Estelle Bistro and Black Bar & Grill's executive chef Dany Karam will present a modern four course grill menu with a touch of old-school nostalgia on Wednesday October 25. Tickets to this one-night-only dining event are $185.
