Learn from the experts at this two-day festival of talks, discussions and storytelling

Storyology and the Walkley Foundation return for another round of frank and in-depth talks about journalistic innovation and the craft of storytelling.

This year's Sydney event isn't just for journos and industry-insiders though, it's a great opportunity for all with a keen eye on the media. With a line up that's bound to excite anyone interested in the arts, culture, innovation, politics, new media, press freedoms, and podcasting, Storyology is your chance to rub shoulders and pick the brains of those in the know.

The 2017 Storyology event hosts speakers from a wide range of global media outlets. Speakers include Andrew Quilty (2016 Gold Walkley-winning photojournalist), Maria Ressa (CEO of Rappler), Siddharth Varadarajan (founding editor of The Wire), Aine Kerr, (head of journalism and partnerships at Facebook), Sinead Boucher (executive editor at Fairfax Media New Zealand) and Caro Meldrum-Hanna (investigative journalist at ABC). Sessions will focus on revenue, design, diversity, podcasting, arts writing and more.
