Time Out says

Eat your heart out at this local food festival

Summer Hill is an unassuming Inner West ’burb, but each year the Neighbourhood Feast comes around we’re reminded of its growing bar scene, reputation for great food and bold coffee culture. This one-day feast will celebrate all the edible offerings of the area, with more than 20 market stalls lining Lackey Street.

It’ll include cuisines from Indian to Middle Eastern, Thai and modern Australian, and local favourites – Andiamo Trattoria, Hungry Eye Nepalese, the Rio and Two Fat Butchers – will be involved too. Check the full foodie line-up here. Beyond the main menu, there’ll also be two festival stages with local musicians and dance troupes performing, plus a kids' play area with garden games, a craft corner, a wildlife show and jumping castle.

And if all the feasting hasn’t satisfied you thus far, there’s always the pizza-eating competition to tip you over the edge.

Check out the full event program on the Inner West Council website.
