Susan Faludi – Closing Address

Author of In the Darkroom and Backlash Susan Faludi is delivering Sydney Writers’ Festival’s closing address. The Pulitzer Prize-winning writer will explore the theme of ‘refuge’ from the metaphorical shelter of books to the basic physical safety that millions of people seek today. Susan confronted the quandaries of refuge through the struggles of her father – who survived the Holocaust and later changed gender identity.
