Time Out says

Pet rescue charity Pound Paws and the University of Sydney are teaming up this weekend for a huge day dedicated to dogs. It’s all going down on the uni grounds, and while we promise there’ll be plenty of cute doggie parades, pet markets, puppy-friendly snacks and doggo trick competitions, it’ll also be an opportunity for learning.

Since you’ll be on uni turf, soak up some knowledge at the dedicated workshop space where you’ll hear about animal welfare, pet health and pet adoption from groups like RSPCA NSW, Deaf Dogs Rescue Australia and the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Sydney. And afterwards, enjoy a few afternoon beers with your woofer at the Courtyard Restaurant and Bar (yes, there’ll be dog-friendly beverages available).
