The Creatory is a one-stop-shop for all things homemade, whether you’re shopping or looking to learn. This charming store has an array of handmade pieces for purchase, a library of magazines to teach you techniques, and supplies for tonnes of crafty projects.
For those of you who are afraid to jump right into the DIY craft world, the Creatory hosts a variety of DIY craft workshops to help you get started. Embroidery expert Kim Davies runs hand-stitching and appliquing techniques as well as paper crafts workshops. And Romona Toson teaches students how to carve and cast a ring from wax, in one of her many jewellery workshops; learn to thread a necklace, or try out different beading techniques.
All courses are led by enthusiastic instructors and provide students with the necessary materials.
