Time Out says

Head to this pop-up gin experience to ring in spring

If you make a considered inspection of Circular Quay’s Overseas Passenger Terminal on September 13, you’ll be able to spy a pop-up gin kiosk, disguised as a Victorian era newsstand. While you can’t order a Gin Fizz at this bar, there is a boozy reward for visiting the Hendrick's gin set up.

Approach the Curious Kiosk and you’ll be handed a cucumber – yep, a whole one – and a copy of a gin-themed newspaper. This odd prize serves as an invitation to visit nearby bars and pubs, where you can offload your strange cargo in exchange for a Hendricks-based tincture.

You have until midnight on Thursday, September 13 to carry out this unusual task, so if you’re feeling that spring spirit and are ready to get back into G&Ts, now’s the time to do it. There’s only a few venues on the roster, and these include QT Sydney, Ryan’s Bar, the Rook, Door Knock, Arthouse and Cruise Bar.
