The Garden Social at the Royal Botanic Garden
Time Out says
The Royal Botanic Garden will be transformed for three weeks with free music, food and flowing G'n'Ts
Taking over the Royal Botanic Garden across three weeks this summer is a new, free outdoor series which brings together all the things you want on a balmy January evening: live tunes, outdoor dining and glorious views of the Harbour. Oh, and G'n'Ts, all night long.
With views spanning from the grassy hills of the RBG over to the Bridge and Opera House, there's no more quintessential Sydney scene to feast your eyes on this season. Not that you'll just be feasting your eyes – line up for delicious food courtesy of eateries like Urban Pasta, Agape, Rolling Schnitzel, Burgers G-Dup and many more, which will set up alfresco to feed garden frolickers in the evenings and during the day on weekends. A Fever Tree bar will also pop up waterside to allow you to learn more about gin botanical varieties, experiment with Fever Tree mixers and hit the nail on the head of your ideal G'n'T combo.
And all this set to the dulcet tones of musicians fresh from Sydney's Conservatorium of Music – they'll be serenading you with live music performances throughout the event. The event takes place on the Tarpein Precinct Lawn. Entry is via Macquarie Street (oposite the Moore steps). It's a completely free event – just walk on in.
The Garden Social series runs from January 13 to February 7, 2021 on Wednesdays to Sundays. It'll be open Wednesday to Friday 5-9pm; Saturday 11am-9pm and Sunday 11-3pm.
