Frankie's is hosting a mini festival dedicated to craft spirits

Craft spirits are on the rise, but to really get a taste for the independent makers distilling rums, vodkas, gins, whiskies, ryes and liqueurs you need to head to the Indie Tasting, a showcase event at Frankie's Pizza by the Slice in September.
This is your chance to get along to a tasting event that is open to the public and get a very swift education in small batch, independent spirits and the dedicated souls who make them.

There will be 120 spirits available for tasting on the day, including the Young Henrys crew who will be showing off the Nightsweat Moonshine and Noble Cut gin. Marrickville legends Poor Tom's will have a stall, as will six distillers from North Carolina bringing never-before-seen products to Australia, including a yam vodka and a blonde whisky.
If you really want to dive down into the nitty gritty of spirit tasting and production there will also be six masterclasses on the day that you can book into.

This will be a very good day to line your stomach with some pizza. You don't want to peak too soon.
