Time Out says

Walk the decks of more than 1,000 vessels at his massive boating expo

For many locals in this harbourside town, the sight of a boat or even a small fleet in the harbour isn’t necessarily a stand-out experience. But when more than 800 vessels roll into the International Convention Centre (ICC) and another 200 float into Cockle Bay, that’s nothing to sniff at.

At the Sydney International Boat Show, you’ll get to check out these floaters along with other sailing and boating paraphernalia across both levels of the ICC, the outdoor deck and the marina. You can get involved in fishing masterclasses, on-water equipment demos, historic boat tours and the dive expo pop-up.

More than 60,000 sailors make the pilgrimage to this huge set up each year, which is touted as the largest recreational boat show in the Southern Hemisphere, so be ready for a big crowd of swashbuckling boat lovers.
