Time Out says

Now’s your chance to try the world’s best steak in this exclusive event brought to you by Time Out and The Star

Ever wondered what the world’s best steak tastes like? We’re offering you the opportunity to try one at an exclusive three-course dinner at Black Bar & Grill on Thursday June 22.

When we say world’s best steak, we mean it. The Jack’s Creek Farm striploin – which is exclusive to Black Bar & Grill – won the top gong at consecutive World Steak Challenge competitions in 2015 and 2016. It's the type of steak that’ll have you closing your eyes, leaning back and groaning as pleasure firecrackers explode in your brain.

For $120 a head, dinner will kick off with beef jerky and a smoked wagyu fatwash cocktail on arrival. Dig into steak sashimi (with shiso dressing, truffle aioli, watercress, radish, crispy garlic and smoked croutons) before the main event – a striploin Wagyu MBS 9+, served with exotic mushrooms, parsley, charred baby leek and horseradish crumbs.

Top off your meal with a passionfruit dessert with macadamia financier, mango sorbet and dried coconut. The entire proceeding will occur under the watchful eye of Black Bar & Grill’s executive chef Dany Karam, with drinks available on consumption.

Join us as we toast to good meat and good vibes.
