Time Out says

A taste of the Apple Isle minus the hefty cost of a flight.

Lovers of eating and drinking will be glad to hear that VIN Diemen, the festival that celebrates Tasmania’s fine food and wine offerings, is returning to Sydney for its third year this August.

For one day only, you’ll be able to sample the best of what the region has to offer, with the likes of Sharman’s Wines, Domaine A, Tolpuddle and Bay of Fires providing the drops, and produce from Bruny Island Cheese Co., Shima Wasabi, Meander Valley and Nichols Poultry. To complement the wine on offer will also be a selection of spirits and ciders, supplied by the Abel Gin Co., Strait Vodka and Gin and Willie Smith’s Organic Cider.

Join hundreds of other gourmet lovers as you float from stall to stall, refining your knowledge of different grapes and varieties. You’ll leave with a crystal Plumm glass and some inspiration for your next wine and cheese night.
