Vivid Sydney at Museum of Sydney

As part of Vivid Sydney, the Museum will be home to light installations, Les Danseuses and Electric Jellyfish. Les Danseuses will be a suspension lamp inside the Museum’s viewing cube. Inspired by the art of dance and the principles of physics, the installation will diffuse coloured light through shaped fabrics that gently twirl in the air, resulting in an installation that is both poetic and captivating. Visitors may also enter the Electric Jellyfish – a multi-sensory domed structure that combines breathtaking visuals with an ethereal soundscape. Visitors can choose to either pluck, bounce or wobble the interior of the dome creating bursts of light and sounds, which shoot up to the centre of the dome.
