Marrickville creative space Stick n Stone is hosting a two-day festival dedicated to plants. It’ll be a centre of flora knowledge, with gardening experts sharing their green insights and teaching festivalgoers how to plant and nurture their home forest.
In between talks and workshops, you can shop for green babies at the market and find pots, recycled timber planters and hand-made trowels and trimmers that will create happy plant homes. Greenery on offer will include both indoor and outdoor varieties, from San Pedro cacti to well-developed monsteras, philodendrons and a whole garden of succulents.
There’ll be food and coffee stalls keeping the plant party going, and if you purchase a larger fern fella, they’ve also got delivery options. Kids and dogs are welcome to join the fun, and since they’re promising achievable plant prices, you should be able to head home with a substantial bunch of greenery.
