Time Out says

What’s not to love about a heritage-listed Victorian mansion that’s been painted pink? Embodying a very Darlinghurst sense of urban chic, the Medusa is an ode to colour and design, all interesting angles and bright flourishes of imagination. The lobby is pink, too, with bulging floral mouldings and an oversized paper chandelier. All rooms have luxe touches like Aveda toiletries and fluffy bathrobes, plus a kitchenette and CD player. The expansive Grand Rooms feature period fireplaces, groovy chaises longues and a sitting area. The recently added business suite, including generous desk space and wireless internet, can be rented hourly, while rooms around the diminutive courtyard are pet friendly. Business centre. Internet (wireless). No smoking. Room service. TV (cable/DVD). CityRail Kings Cross. Rates $310-$420 double. Rooms 18.
