Spring Creek Retreat

 The owners travel extensively in Europe each year, which has translated into the aura of casual elegance you find in the classic pensiones of Italy. Hostess Susan Stoertz knows every walking track and café for miles, has a knack for easy company, and fills the retreat with a calm, friendly energy. Her breakfasts are outstanding – fresh berries and other fruits, bircher muesli and assorted cooked plates whipped up on the spot. Husband Jack manicures the grounds which feature roses, masses of lavender, and views across the milky pastures and dry-stone walls to the ocean.  Spring Creek Retreat also caters to weddings and small conference groups. You can walk to Kiama in 20 minutes.
