Spend the weekend on a winery crawl in Canberra’s cool climate wine region

The village of Murrumbateman is the capital of Canberra’s cool-climate wine region; it’s here you’ll find award-winning wines and produce, primarily created by a group of inspired and creative local businesses called the Makers of Murrumbateman.

The annual showcase of local wines and food is called the Murrumbateman Moving Feast. Guests can spend the weekend of September 30 and October 1 roving from winery to winery and taking in the beautiful countryside of Murrumbateman on the way.

Participating wineries and venues – including Wins Creek Meadery, Helm Wines. Yarrh Wines, Four Winds Vineyard and more – will offer dishes matched to their premium wines. Hand over $20 for savoury fare or $15 for desserts, and you’ll receive a signature tasting plate matched with one of the vineyard’s wines, poured into a souvenir engraved glass for you to collect along your winery crawl.
