Time Out says

Windsor’s Sebel Resort and Spa has recently undergone a change of management and one happy result has been the Sebel taking home a Gold Winner in Deluxe Accommodation at the 2012 Greater Sydney Tourism Awards held in July 2012.

Set on eight hectares of manicured lawns, the Sebel Resort and Spa is a pampering haven featuring a 25-metre pool, an enormous sauna and the Villa Thalgo Day Spa, the largest day spa in Western Sydney, offering everything from one hour facial or body replenishment to full day treatment, accommodation and meal deals.

May 2011 saw the hotel lobby completely made over, transforming from its colonial Australian design to a picturesque French provincial theme, while March 2012 ushered in the redesign of all 30 Courtyard Room bathrooms and the resort’s Harvest Restaurant. Open to both guests and the Public, Harvest now boasts marble fireplaces, frosted metallic lamps and plush floors set to window views of the mountainside.

Packages include the Winter Warmer featuring overnight accommodation in an Executive Room with the ornamental fireplace lit upon your arrival as well as a bottle of Australian red wine and cheese platter for two laid out, followed by a buffet breakfast for two in the Gazebo restaurant the next morning.
