If there’s one workout that never gets old for me, it’s Pilates. Whether I’m trying to strengthen my core, improve my posture or just take a mindful break from the chaos of Bangkok, it always leaves me feeling stronger and more centred. Over the past few weeks, I’ve tried out tons of Pilates studios across the city from bougie boutique spots to in-the-know gems and each one has its unique personality. Some are all about serious form and technique, others are great for beginners or group energy and a few are just so gorgeous you’ll want to stay all day.

Whether you're a total beginner or looking to shake up your current routine, here’s my pick of Bangkok’s top eight Pilates studios – each with something special to offer. Let’s get into it.

Stretch Studio Pilates Park – Best for beginners and accessibility

Stretch Studio is one of those rare finds that’s equal parts aesthetic, supportive and seriously convenient. I had the chance to meet the owner, Pang, who’s not only incredibly friendly but also clearly knows her stuff when it comes to Pilates. The instructors are upbeat and attentive, making it a great spot whether you're easing back into movement or just starting out. Exciting news: their Soi 49 location is expanding this July to include eight reformer machines and a private room with a Cadillac machine, meaning even more flexibility in how you train. With small class sizes and a nurturing, feel-good vibe, it’s perfect for anyone who wants a motivating yet low-pressure environment. With its warm vibe and great location, it’s the kind of place you can hit with friends and head to brunch right after.

Absolute Pilates – Best for consistency and convenience

If you like having options and crave structure in your workout routine, make Absolute Pilates your go-to. With numerous branches across Bangkok, it’s ideal for those who want consistency, sleek reformer setups and access to different class types like ‘Core and Spine’, ‘Strength and Stretch’ and their more intense ‘Pilates Circuit’ sessions. Instructors are polished, professional and stick to a tried-and-true format that makes it easy to track progress. While the vibe leans more towards ‘boutique chain’ than cosy sanctuary, you’ll appreciate the cleanliness, efficiency and range of class levels – especially if you’re balancing a busy timetable or hopping between neighbourhoods.

Reformed Pilates Bangkok – Best for learning fundamentals

This is where I send anyone serious about learning Pilates the right way. With only five people per class, the instructors are incredibly meticulous, always making sure your form is spot-on and that you understand the ‘why’ behind each movement. The studio itself is aesthetic and intimate, tucked away from the city’s chaos. The vibe is calm yet focused. Owner Bella is warm, friendly and often around to welcome new clients. There’s also a curated selection of Pilates outfits on display, making it easy to pick up something stylish before or after class. If you're looking for form-focused training with highly attentive instructors, this is your spot.

The Pilates Club (Sukhumvit Soi 26) – Best private experience

No big online presence, no paid ads, The Pilates Club runs on word-of-mouth and a cult-like following. This cozy studio on Sukhumvit Soi 26 only offers private or duo classes, all led by the owner herself, who’s as friendly and fun as she is skilled. Each session is tailored exactly to what you need that day, whether it's deep stretching, core work or a full-body burn. She’s flexible in her teaching style, and it genuinely feels like you’re doing Pilates with a friend. The studio is well-equipped, including a Cadillac machine that she’ll walk you through from your very first session — a total treat if you’ve never tried it before.

Flex Your Abilities – Best boutique studio

Flex Your Abilities feels like it was made just for you. It’s a private studio that offers fully personalised one-on-one or duo sessions, and the instructors take the time to understand your body, your habits and your goals.  I took a morning class with Nandini, and it was such a refreshing way to reset and reconnect with the reformer. It’s bright, minimal, and incredibly clean – there are even air purifiers in every room. It’s quiet and focused with zero distractions. If you love boutique wellness spaces, this is your spot.

Pilates Plus Bangkok – Best for intermediate focus

This is the place to go when you’re in the mood to work hard and really focus on form. The instructors here don’t let anything slide — they’ll correct your alignment, breathing and movement down to the smallest detail. The studio itself is cosy and functional with a strong reputation for reformer sessions. It’s a great mix of encouragement and challenge, especially if you’ve done Pilates before and want to level up your practice.

FS8 Asok – Best all-round experience

FS8 is where you go when you want a workout that really pushes you. It’s not your typical Pilates class — think a fusion of reformer Pilates, mat work, functional training, and cardio intervals all rolled into one. Each session has around 10–12 people, with the workout displayed on TV screens around the studio so you can follow along while the instructor keeps a close eye on your form and gives support when needed. The vibe is sleek, modern, and high-energy – like stepping into an upscale fitness studio in LA. If you’re after something more intense that still gives you that reformer fix, FS8 is seriously addictive.

The Balance Pilates & Physio – Best for rehab and alignment

This one is a total game-changer if you’re dealing with chronic pain, injuries or just feel out of alignment. The sessions are run by trained physiotherapists so you’re getting more than just a workout – you’re getting long-term body care. The space is calming and clean (think muted tones and soft lighting), and they’re really used to working with both Thai and international clients. Every movement is explained with so much care and I always leave feeling realigned and refreshed.

Finding the right Pilates studio is kind of like dating –

It really depends on your vibe, your energy and what you’re looking for. Some days, I want a tough-love instructor who’ll fix every detail and other days I just want to stretch, breathe, and not think too much. The amazing thing about Bangkok is that there’s truly a studio for every personality, body type and fitness level – you just have to find your fit.

Whether you’re here for a week, a year, or you’re a local like me, I hope this list helps you discover a space that makes you feel good, not just physically but mentally too. And if you end up trying one of these places, please let me know – I might just join you for a session!
