‘Secret’ doesn’t seem like a fitting term for this massive new space, but it is discreetly located and the general public hasn’t really figured out that it exists. They will soon. The bank’s art collection is impressive and a good summary of Malaysian art from the last few decades. There are lots of important names in its permanent collection, and the museum has an active exhibition calendar. The bank’s art collection stands at about 1,700 works, and whilst that figure doesn’t top Balai Seni Visual Negara's, it’s substantial and the works are very different.
