Regional low-cost carrier AirAsia is introducing a brand new in-flight meal specially catered to the youngest passengers, available from September 28 onwards. Dubbed the Lil’ Star Combo, the meal was created for kids aged between two and 12, and features a mini wholesome chicken pizza served alongside a drink and special snack box.
According to AirAsia Group Chief Commercial Officer Siegtraund Teh, the combo meal was ‘specially designed by our in-flight chef based on guests’ suggestions’. If there’s one thing we can count on, it’s that kids can be a vocal and honest bunch! We can only assume that AirAsia’s focus group would have told the grown-ups exactly what they like in a pizza.
Also, lucky kids who happen to be flying on September 28 will receive a complimentary Lil’ Star Combo (while stocks last). For interested parents travelling on other dates, the combo is available for pre-booking at RM10 on AirAsia’s website. Best part of the deal is, parents won’t have to fork out extra and order an adult-sized meal for their kids anymore!
