Rachel’s Organic Creamy Peach Bio Live Yogurt, RM11

Packaging
Comes in a wide tub, which makes it really easy to get to every last bit.

Appearance
A friendly shade of pale yellow with visible peach pieces running through.

Texture
Thinner and more runny than expected, but this didn’t bother us one bit.

Flavour
Quite heavenly. It’s got just enough of everything and manages to strike the balance of flavours just right.

Verdict
This stuff is seriously delicious, though you do pay a premium for the taste.

Chobani Raspberry Greek Yogurt, RM8.80

Packaging
Hefty in size, this chunky specimen is the biggest of the bunch at 170g.

Appearance
We thought there’d be a bit more colour to it (it shows up as you go through it), but it looks pretty thick.

Texture
Fairly thick and a bit clumpy, but not in a bad way.

Flavour
Good for those who like things a bit more tart and sour. Chobani has a quite a number (11 that we counted!) of other flavours to choose from so if you don’t like this one, there are a whole lot more to choose from.

Verdict
We were pretty divided on this one – some of us quite liked it, and others… not so much. But being a Greek yoghurt and higher in protein, this one will probably will keep you full longer than the others.

Sunglo Low Fat Greek Yoghurt With Mangoes, RM3.20

Packaging
Pretty straightforward packaging – it comes in a clear tub with a lid that has a spoon underneath. Win!

Appearance
Looks like yoghurt, but does it taste like yoghurt?

Texture
Feels like yoghurt, but again, does it taste like yoghurt?

Flavour
No – this doesn’t taste like yoghurt. TBH, this wasn’t very appetising and we didn’t find any mango chunks like it claimed on the front of the packaging. It tasted vaguely coconutty, and unless you’re buying coconut-flavoured yoghurt (why?) then you probably don’t want your yoghurt tasting like coconuts.

Verdict
Stay away from this one, guys – even if it’s less than half the price of some of the others.

Müller Corner – Greek Style Yoghurt, Black Cherry, RM8.50

Packaging
We’d like to say that we’re suckers for fancy little compartmentalised packaging like this. The yoghurt comes on one side and the fruit compote on the other.

Appearance
The fruit compote looks invitingly like jam and the yoghurt is an appetising shade of milky white.

Texture
Smooth as silk.

Flavour
The yoghurt was nice, but we wish we had better things to say about the compote – it actually tasted like cough medicine.

Verdict
Maybe we should have gone with another flavour.

Gippsland Dairy Passionfruit Twist Yogurt, RM9.50

Packaging
This packaging sweet talks you with its words before you even open it, with promises of ‘the richest, creamiest, most delicious dairy products you’ll ever taste’.  Best of all, there’s a spoon tucked conveniently under the lid.

Appearance
Sunny passion fruit curd greets you as you peel open the foil and the thick yoghurt practically begs you to give it a stir.

Texture
Lusciously thick.

Flavour
So creamy, so good. This is what proper yoghurt is supposed to taste like.

Verdict
Winner! Everything about this combination is divine, from the real fruit pulp to the richness of the yoghurt.
