Mei-Xin, one of Hong Kong’s leading mooncake brands, has created two limited edition Star Wars-themed mooncakes, with highly collectible metal tins to boot. The white Stormtrooper edition (pictured above) consists of four custard lava mooncakes (45g each), each bearing the imprint of the Rebel Alliance emblem.
The black Darth Vader version, on the other hand, features four chocolate lava mooncakes (45g each) embossed with the Imperial sign. Oh, the mooncakes also come with matching paper bags. You can order the mooncakes at RM106 per tin via Jaya Grocer’s website and collect them at your preferred Jaya Grocer outlet. Currently, there’s a promotion where you save RM23 with the purchase of two tins – that’s RM189 instead of RM212.
