What are your plans on Saturday afternoon? If your answer isn't 'Time Out Dine Out', then you're doing it wrong. Our first ever urban picnic takes place on Avenue K's rooftop tomorrow, December 5, and other than being able to sample food from 15 of KL's popular restaurants in one venue, you can expect live music, games and competitions to make this one perfect weekend.
Live performances
As dusk approaches, chill out to tunes by local singer-songwriter Meliha Faisal and electro-acoustic quartet Crinkle Cut.
Games and activities
In between exercising your mouth chewing food, exercise your brain as well. Super-sized Jenga blocks will be available on-site, but if you prefer more of a challenge, try your hand at giant pick-up sticks instead.
Want to test your physical strength? We may be too old for an actual bouncy castle, so here's something more age-appropriate that doesn't compromise on bouncy, inflatable fun – an inflatable gladiator joust ring. See if you can knock down your opponent fast enough to emerge victorious.
