Carlsberg celebrates Chinese New Year with the ‘Prosperity Begins With A POP!’ campaign


This Chinese New Year is kicking off with a bang with Carlsberg’s ‘Prosperity Begins With A POP’ campaign.

For the festive season, bright pops of the colours red, green, blue and pink adorn limited edition packaging of Carlsberg and Carlsberg Smooth Draught bottles and cans, representing traditional Chinese New Year messages of prosperity, happiness, good luck and wealth. Consumers also will stand a chance to win prizes through a host of promotions and activities.

With this year’s campaign, the grand prizes up for grabs include electronic mahjong tables (that auto-shuffles and sorts game tiles), limited edition mahjong sets, ang paus and playing cards. All you have to do is check under the bottle caps when you order a big bottle of Carlsberg or Carlsberg Smooth Draught at participating outlets.

Alternatively, you can also get yourself a mahjong set for RM88 with a purchase of two cartons of Carlsberg or Carlsberg Smooth Draught and one carton of Somersby (any variant) or one carton of Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc. Or, spend RM600 on Carlsberg Malaysia products in Tesco and you’ll get yourself a free mahjong set.

The campaign also extends to participating eateries and pubs where customers who order Carlsberg or Carlsberg Smooth Draught will stand a chance to redeem a deck of playing cards or win a RM100 beer voucher.
