Did you know that June 14 is World Cucumber Day? You’d be forgiven if you didn’t, but now that you do know, we suggest you keep that evening free for a cucumber and gin fest.
As all gin fans know, cucumber brings a freshness to any drink and is the ideal accompaniment to a G&T. This cool fruit (stop with the vegetable accusation already!) is part of Hendrick Gin’s flavour roster, and this year’s World Cucumber Day celebration sees a selection of top KL bars offering Hendrick’s G&Ts in exchange for a cucumber. Simply bring a cucumber to any of the participating bars and redeem a G&T – one cucumber = one G&T. However, redemptions are limited to 60 drinks per bar and one drink per guest; all cucumbers accepted.
Participating bars include Knowhere, Coley Cocktail Bar, The Vault KL, SARO Lounge, Circa, Pahit, PS150, Beta KL, Skullduggery, Mrs Jones Parlour and more.
