This container café at the EcoWorld sales gallery in Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC; formerly the site of Pudu jail) is pretty on the outside and cosy inside. The entire café is made up of four adjoining containers, so if you’re lucky, you might get an entire container to yourself – one even features a pair of swings. It is, quite frankly, a very photogenic structure and space, and it’s made for lingering.
Food-wise, it’s a simple menu of Asian fusion dishes, namely prawn curry carbonara linguine, chicken linguine sambal tomato, chicken percik burger and nasi lemak sushi roll. There are also some straightforward local dishes such as prawn mee, nasi lemak and chicken lor bak. You can expect all the usual espresso-based coffee drinks, along with a small selection of tea and mocktails.
