Time Out says

Supermarkets have evolved in recent years; with the addition of onsite cafés and restaurants, they are now more than just a place to get your groceries. As such, the newly refurbished Mercato in Pavilion KL is very much on trend, featuring not just a revamped supermarket offering a wider variety of premium and international goods, but also two new eateries – Oyster & Seafood Bar by Mercato and Mercato Café.

The supermarket interior is bright and contemporary, making it very easy to navigate. There’s more of everything now. Along with a larger floor space for fresh produce, Mercato has introduced a new Taste of Asia range with more than 600 different food items from the region such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the Middle East (check out the dates and baklavas), as well as a Malaysian Delights range where tourists can get edible souvenirs to bring home. You’ll also find exclusive brands such as Booths from the UK, Casino from France and E-Mart from Korea.

On top of that, Mercato also offers Dorper lamb and Wagyu beef from Australia, pre-marinated meats, local and air-flown fresh seafood, a specialist butchery service, whole cakes for any occasions, a counter serving ready-to-eat food, plus a premium wine room with a bar counter for tastings. Don’t miss the cheese section – you’ll be spoilt with over 100 types of cheeses from around the world.

The good news is, Mercato is providing free delivery service with a minimum purchase of RM200, to anywhere within a 10km radius of the store. Otherwise, assistance will be on hand to help you carry your shopping to your car.
