The Co.
  • Things to do
  • Event spaces
  • Bandaraya
The Co. is a shared workspace defined by collaboration, not cubicles. The complimentary coffee is tempting (as are the convenient locations at Bangsar and The Row too), but also, The Co. encourages connectivity and creativity among the members of its community, which is a mix of like-minded professionals – from entrepreneurs to freelancers and fast-growing companies – who work and play together. Sometimes, there’s a wide variety of seminars and workshops you can join when the workday hits a lull – that, or you could seek out the resident cat.

Rates: From RM50 per day; RM650 per month.
Colony KLCC

  • KL City Centre

Founded by Timothy Tiah, the man behind the blog advertising network Nuffnang, Colony is a 300-seat space that is targeted at startups, small companies and even large corporations, as evidenced by its prime location on Jalan Kia Peng.

On the upside, there are numerous benefits that come with that higher price tag: a nap area, a massage room where a certified masseuse can attend to you, and access to a rooftop gym and swimming pool. On top of that, every Colony employee has a RM100 budget per day per member that can be spent on anything they think can make a guest happy.

Rates: RM60 for a day pass. RM386 for an open hotdesk; RM688 for a dedicated desk; RM2,088 for a private office per month.
