Street food, sample sales and free pizza: it's LondOnTheInside’s tips for June

Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this month.

French Connection Sample Sale, Camden, June 3-5

It's sample sale season – like we need an excuse to update our wardrobe – which is why we're hot-footing it to French Connection's three-day sale. There's new stock delivered daily, big discounts AND the £1 entry goes to charity. It'd be rude not to.

Field Day, Victoria Park, June 11-12

Without a doubt one of our favourite summer festivals. Right on our doorstep we've got cutting edge music, emerging artists and all time faves rocking the line-up at this year's Field Day. And like everything these days, food is also a pivotal part of that line-up. We'll be rocking out with fish tacos in our mouth. Give us a thumbs up if you see us.

Yard Sale Pizza, Finsbury Park, opens June 13

Yard Sale are all set to open a second pizza joint in Finsbury Park. The best bit? They are giving away 350 pizzas during opening week, 50 each day. Oh and there's a beer pizza. That's right, a pizza made with beer. You know you knead to check this out.

Taste of London, Regents Park, June 15-19

If like us you love food, then say 'hello' to Taste of London which brings together 40 of the best restaurants in London for a four-day festival. With everyone from Typing Room to Santo Remedio and Jose Pizarro, it's no easy feat deciding who you'll visit. We reckon go early and tick them all off.

Mason & Company, Here East, Hackney Wick, June 17

Here East is where it's at this summer and next to join the canalside strip of openings is Mason & Company who bring craft beer and Italian-American street food trader Capish? to the Hackney riviera. With over 20 craft beers, we reckon conquering all in one trip is impossible, but boy do we like a challenge. It's a prime spot for those who want to get out of London but don't have the dollar.
