London Borough of Haringey? More like London Borough of Harin-yay! First Tottenham got a clutch of new venues that have made it the best area in the city for a big one. Now, over in Wood Green, there’s a major new development opening that’ll bring a Street Feast market to hungry north Londoners for the first time.

Clarendon Yards is a converted industrial estate that’s getting a colourful new look. Five connected warehouses will house a new microbrewery called The Goodness Brewery & Tap, spaces for craft, events and performance, and – most exciting of all – a street food market named Hawker Union, which opens on Saturday.

Residents include White Men Can’t Jerk, Growlers and Black Bear Burger. The whole development is the brainchild of Nick Hartwright, who set up Green Rooms, the ace, affordable artists’ hotel around the corner. Should be worth climbing the Harringay Ladder for.
