We’ve seen screamers galore, a few absolute howlers, some controversial calls and a couple of shocking early exits. We’ve witnessed everything from turgid 0-0 draws (England vs Ghana) to edge-of-your-seat, five-goal thrillers (Argentina vs Egypt). We’ve heard the words ‘altitude’ and ‘hydration break’ more times than we care to remember, spotted dozens of American celebs in the stands, and shared literally hundreds of memes comparing Erling Haaland to a spring onion

And now, after five weeks, 100 games and nearly 300 goals, 48 teams have been whittled down to just four, with the 2026 World Cup semi-finals taking place over the coming days. With England having reached another semi-final, the atmosphere in the capital has pretty much reached fever pitch.

But not everyone is supporting the Three Lions. London prides itself on being a gloriously diverse city, so you’ll find several watch parties for fans of the other semi-finalists across the capital too. Whether you’re an expat, a Scotland fan planning a hate watch, or just want to cheer on your sweepstake team, here’s where to go to watch Spain, France or Argentina with a home crowd in London.

Best places to watch the 2026 World Cup semi-finals for each team

France

France’s World Cup semi-final happens to fall on Bastille Day, which means Francophile Londoners are spoilt for choice when it comes to screening events. Expat community Frogs in London has got screenings of ‘le foot’ down to a fine art, and is hosting no fewer than ten watch parties across the city on Tuesday. Some of them are already sold out, but fans of Les Bleus can still nab tickets for The Clapham Grand, Freight Brixton, Beechwood Sports Bar in Shoreditch and Soho Zebrano, or for family-friendly watch parties in The Temperance in Fulham and The Minories in Tower Hill. And Francophone club night Kossa Folie is also getting in on the action, hosting a screening at Two Tribes Brewery’s Caledonian Road taproom Campfire, with French DJs spinning before and after le match. Faites votre choix!

Spain

As the largest Latin media brand in the UK, Latino Life has been hosting watch parties for various Spanish-speaking countries throughout the World Cup, and will be rocking up to Fire nightclub in Vauxhall on Tuesday evening for its Spain watch party. Fans of La Roja have also been gathering at tapas restaurant Camino’s, which has branches in King’s Cross, Monument and Shoreditch. And if you want a decent selection of Spanish beers, Bradley’s Spanish Bar just off Tottenham Court Road is a bona fide institution that serves up pintas of Alhambra, Mahou and Estrella.

Argentina

The majority of London will be a hostile environment for Argentina fans on Wednesday, but there are a few places in the city where fans of La Albiceleste will be gathering. Fire Vauxhall will be hosting a watch party for the current World Cup holders, while expat community La Rejuntada are hosting a screening at Argentinian bakery British Patagonia in Islington, and fans can also join their WhatsApp group to stay informed about other events.

England

Unsurprisingly, many of the biggest screening events have already sold out for Wednesday, but you’re still going to be spoilt for choice if you support the Three Lions. There are literally hundreds of pubs, bars, cinemas, nightclubs and outdoor courtyards available for walk-ins, but our favourite alfresco venues include Flat Iron Square, German Kraft Brewery and the Queen of Hoxton.
