Revel in the end of Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting, at these foodie and family-friendly events. 

1. Eid in the Park

Take it outside for this alfresco Eid ceremony hosted by Assunnah Islamic Centre. The extravaganza includes inspirational talks at Qur’an Corner as well as family fun with bumper cars and bouncy castles at the funfair. Get your hands on organic food, crafts and toys in the Souk Zone. Or gobble up a plethora of international street food.

2. Eid Festival

Thousands of Londoners and visitors descend on Trafalgar Square for this annual event hosted by the Mayor of London. Expect a party brimming with live music, tasty street food from around the world, family workshops and entertainment on a huge stage between the square’s famous lions.

3. London Eid at Westfield 

Come along to this annual weekender and soak up the cultural experience with the help of halal street food stalls, live cookery demos, talks, modest fashion shows and henna designing.

4. Eid-al-Fitr Banquet by The Hampstead Kitchen and Sambal Shiok

Saima Khan of The Hampstead Kitchen and Mandy Yin of Sambal Shiok are cooking up a banquet of Pakistani and Malaysian dishes to mark the end of Ramadan. Expect spiced otak otak fishcakes and Royal Malay chicken biryani.
