Free stuff: it makes you happy. But you know what really gets us buzzing? Free Espresso Martinis. To coincide with Mr Black Espresso Martini Fest (August 1-7), 1,000 of the coffee cocktails are being given away in participating London bars on Wednesday August 7. Five cocktail spots will be shaking up the caffeinated treat for those lucky enough to pick up a free voucher.
Given on a first come, first served basis, vouchers will entitle cocktail lovers to a free Espresso Martini (espresso, vodka, Mr Black coffee liqueur) from one of five selected bars. Each of the following locations are giving away 200 of the cult cocktails from 6.30pm on Wednesday:
The Ten Bells, Spitalfields
The Gun, Spitalfields
Callooh Callay, Shoreditch
68 & Boston, Soho
Looking Glass Cocktail Club, Hackney
All you need to do to redeem a free drink is download a voucher here or through the Drinkup.London app, and then take it to your designated bar from 6.30pm.
And if you miss out on this pulse-racing deal, you can still grab a bargain coffee cocktail (or two, or more!) from Wednesday until Sunday, by picking up a free Espresso Martini Fest pass. The festival entitles you to £6 versions of the cocktail at a range of bars across London – and you should find yourself propelled between them all pretty easily, if the drink has anything to do with it.
