Less than a fortnight after it put Julia Robert’s face on a doughnut, Doughnut Time is at it again. The latest zany creation to emerge from the Australian doughnut shop is a Percy Pig doughnut: strawberry glaze topped with pink sprinkles and – the pièce de resistance – Marks & Spencer’s Percy Pigs. It’s called ‘The Notorious P.I.G.’, which we have mixed feelings about. We haven’t sampled it yet, but we’ve tried other Doughnut Time doughnuts and they’re great – like artisanal Krispy Kremes. And that picture looks pretty dreamy, doesn’t it? A farmyard scene, with hay bales made out of what looks like Weetabix.
