[title]
Another sunny weekend is on it’s way. And that means there’s heaps of exciting stuff going on throughout the city. It also means that there are several planned closures across London’s public transport network, as TfL likes to carry out maintenance work on the weekends when there are less people travelling.
So whether you’re prepping to run the Hackney Half, planning to explore the National Gallery’s newly refurbed Sainsbury Wing or thinking about seeing a Star Wars themed cabaret, here’s are all the planned train disruptions to look out for this weekend.
Hackney Half travel disruption
Homerton station (Mildmay line) will be closed to eastbound trains between 7am and 9am on the morning of the Hackney Half Marathon. Instead, you should get off at Hackney Wick, which is a 20 minute walk to the start line.
Central line
Central line trains won’t stop at Queensway station after 10pm on Sunday.
District line
On Saturday and Sunday there’ll be no District line services between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. You can hop on replacement bus PL1 instead.
Jubilee line
The Jubilee line’s Southwark station will be closed from 11pm on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Piccadilly line
There’s no Friday or Saturday Night Tube on the Piccadilly line this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, the line will be closed between King’s Cross St Pancras to Osterley and Uxbridge. TfL recommends that passengers use the Metropolitan line or replacement buses instead.

DLR
The DLR won’t be running between Poplar/ Stratford and Beckton/ Woolwich Arsenal on Saturday or Sunday. You can use the Jubilee line between Stratford and Canning Town or Elizabeth line connections between Custom House and Woolwich instead. There will also be replacement buses available.
Elizabeth line
On Sunday, the Lizzie line will be operating on a reduced service between West Drayton and Maidenhead and Heathrow Terminal 4. Trains won’t be stopping at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing.
Overground
Mildmay line
There won’t be any Mildmay services between Willesden Junction and Richmond from 9.30pm on Sunday. In the evening, the 10.01pm trains from Stratford to Willesden Junction will terminate at Gospel Oak at 9.56pm and 10.26pm respectively.
