This Sunday, a team of intrepid Time Out and Time Out Market staff will be taking on the Hackney Half Marathon: a 13-mile circuit of the streets of east London. We’ll be busting a gut to raise money for a very important charity, which also happens to be one of our King’s Cross neighbours.
Shelter from the Storm is a free homeless shelter that provides a hot meal and a bed every night of the year for 42 vulnerable Londoners. It’s entirely dependent on donations and is currently raising money to create a new purpose-built home for the homeless.
Team Time Out is aiming to raise £2,500 for Shelter from the Storm by running the Hackney Half – and we won’t be able to do it without your help. Please sponsor us (or donate directly) and enable our excellent charity partner make London a more welcoming city.
