Shopping is stressful enough as it is. But shopping on Oxford Street is a whole other level of chaos. There’s the hundreds of other shoppers you have to zig-zag around, the endless sound of traffic, flashing visuals from shop windows and music blaring out of shop doors. It’s enough to send anyone into sensory overload. Not to mention the achy feet that come with all that walking and sore shoulders from all those bags.
What Oxford Street needs is somewhere you can get some good old peace and quiet, perhaps with a relaxing spa treatment or two thrown in for good measure. Enter: the Rituals ‘mind spa’.
This October, luxury toiletries and fragrance brand Rituals is bringing a ‘mind oasis’ to Oxford Street. The concept promises ‘science-backed treatments with immersive design’ and includes treatments like a ‘brain massage’, ‘breathing bubble’ and a hydro massage in which you get massaged while floating atop a warm waterbed.

The brand already already has ‘mind spas’ in the likes of Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, Antwerp and Frankfurt, but this would be its first in the UK.
Annemarie Forsyth, Rituals UK manager, said: ‘We’re beyond excited to launch the mind oasis in London. Oxford Street is fast-paced and full of life—making it the perfect place to introduce a space that invites people to pause, breathe, and reconnect.’
