Since Yard Sale opened its first location in Clapton way back in 2014, the pizza spot has been a regular on Time Out’s list of the finest pizzerias in London. Over the last decade-and-a-bit Yard Sale has built up a portfolio that is now 17 locations strong – and they’ve just revealed who’s getting number 18.
Next up for Yard Sale’s Neapolitan-NYC hybrid ’zas is, drumroll please… Angel, Islington. The pizza chain’s 18th spot will be on White Conduit Street, just steps from Chapel Market, and it’ll open in August.
Just as exciting as getting a new Yard Sale in a neighbourhood is the company expanding the list of postcodes it delivers to, as well as boosting its roster of pubs that you can order a pizza to without a delivery charge. YS hasn’t yet revealed its postcodes for its N1 opening, nor which postcodes it will deliver to (and there isn’t a specific opening date yet, either).
Yard Sale is best loved for pies like its Unholy Pepperoni (with double stacked ‘properoni’) and TSB (with tenderstem broccoli, parmesan and pine nuts), as well as its collaborations. The current special is a World Cup-inspired collab with Adidas called the ‘Adidas Trionda’, packed with Texan sausage, Mexican jalapeños and a hot Canadian maple syrup.
Yard Sale’s most recent openings were in Queen’s Park in April and East Finchley in February. You can sign up for opening news of the Angel branch on Yard Sale’s website.
