Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’s setting up shop slap-bang in the middle of Leicester Square. The busy central London spot is not just a home for multiplex cinemas and M&M’s World Store, oh no. Every year, a festive pop up appears right in its centre with a full on Christmas market, Santa’s grotto, stalls, food and drink, and festive entertainment curated by Udderbelly. Plan in advance and you can catch cabaret, burlesque and enough bauble-boasting drag shows to decorate a Christmas tree with. Look out for the regular glamour-disco-circus club night from Club Briefs (running until December 29), a show for all ages by Bras Carnival (until December 30) a drag tribute act like no other courtesy of Gals Aloud (until January 5).
