Get your beer mugs, walking shoes and stretchy pants ready, Angelenos. L.A. Beer Week is right around the corner, and the festivities just got a whole lot tastier.

Thanks to Eastside mainstay Eagle Rock Brewery and a slew of other local restaurants and breweries, the forthcoming nine-day fest will host the inaugural Eagle Walk: Sip & Savor, a five-course progressive meal paired with locally brewed beers, on June 21.

The guided one-mile culinary tour will give Angelenos a chance to explore Eagle Rock's neighborhood faves, chat with local owners and chefs, and—in true L.A. Beer Week spirit—taste beer flights from some of L.A.'s best breweries.

The food and drink fest kicks off at artisan cheese shop (and raclette purveyorsMilkfarm, where beer lovers can wet their appetites with a slice of gourmet fromage and a flight from El Segundo Brewing. Continue down Colorado Boulevard for a second course at local greasy spoon Oinkster, a retro, low-key burger joint that serves up the perfect finger-licking grub to complement pairings from Mumford Brewing. As for the next pit stops, indulge in courses from high-glamour hot spot Red Herring, gastropub ERB Public House and Eastside favorite Little Beast. Here, beer enthusiasts can sip on pairings from Highland Park Brewing, Craftsman Brewing, and Eagle Rock Brewery.

Hankering for a pint of beer right about now? Us too. That's a total of five restaurants, five courses and five local brewing companies. (At least you're walking it off, right?)
