Prestige cars become literal works of art in this latest open-air installation by contemporary artist David Bromley. Part of the Provocaré Festival of the Arts, which showcases the works of some of Australia’s most provocative and exciting artists, Bromley will turn some of the world’s most covetable cars (including Rolls Royce, Mercedes and Jaguar) into his canvas, embellishing them with his distinctive artwork.
Stripped of their engines and interiors, many of the cars were destined for the junkyard before being rescued by Bromley and turned into collectible items again.
You can find Bromley's artworks along Oxford Street in South Yarra from July 5 to 15.
