Castlemaine artist Helen Kelly is debuting new works at the Castlemaine Contemporary Arts Space over Good Friday and Easter Saturday. Kelly has lived in Castlemaine for more than 20 years and has previously worked as the artistic director for the Dookie Small Towns Transformation project.
Despite Kelly's deep connection to the area, this will be her first time exhibiting in the town since 2013, having spent the last four years working and traveling around Australia and internationally. Join her for the opening of her new pop-up exhibition at CASPA Lane from 6pm on Good Friday. It's free to enter and all are welcome, though unfortunately the venue is unsuitable for prams and wheelchairs.
