Time Out says

Eight finalists are competing for a $10,000 prize in this showcase of rising stars

Get the jump on Victoria's next generation of artists at the annual Linden Prize. Awarded to an artist recently graduated from a Victorian university, the exhibition features sculpture, installations, photography and video from eight finalists, with the winners competing for a top prize of $10,000 and a tailored mentoring program.

This year's finalists include Andrew Atchison, whose large-scale sculptures explore queer identity, Indigenous artist Jaye Early and her video works exploring the idea of personal confession in public space, Pie Rankine, whose installations consider the boundaries between regional and urban living, and Geoff Robinson’s experiments with light and sound. The winners will be announced on the first night of the exhibition on February 22. It continues until April 28.
