The phrase “Comedy Commutes” might put you in mind of the time you tried to get across town without a Myki while carrying a taxidermied kangaroo, but rest assured – the Melbourne International Comedy Festival has something else entirely in mind.
Every weekend of this year’s festival, a curated mix of familiar faces and new talent will commute to some favourite local venues around Melbourne, bringing the laughter a little closer to home.
The past year has taught us the make the most of our own immediate environment, and with that in mind join MCs including Michelle Brasier, Georgie Carroll, Carl Donnelly, Bob Franklin, Dolly Diamond and Chris Ryan for a line-up of fantastically funny comedians without leaving your neighbourhood.
