The AACTAs are the Australian film industry's night of nights, our very own answer to the Oscars. Formerly known as the AFI Awards, the AACTAs recognise the best and brightest of Australia's film and television industry.

The red carpet and awards ceremony takes place at The Star Event Centre in Sydney on Wednesday December 4, with stars and movie-makers dressed to the nines as they strut the red carpet. Ticket packages are available now to the general public to attend the official AACTA Awards viewing party at The Star.

The Ultimate Fan Experience ticket package includes seating in the red carpet viewing grandstand to see all the pre-show action; a glamour gift bag; admission to the Official AACTA Awards Live Viewing Party (at Rock Lily, The Star) with a live, direct, unedited stream of the 2019 AACTA Awards ceremony; and a complimentary drink on arrival plus canapés.

You'll also have the chance to win 'Best Dressed', which provides you and your guest access to the Official AACTA Awards After Party to mingle with the stars. A further door prize is a money-can’t-buy AACTA Awards backstage tour for you and your guest.

Films entered for the awards this year include Acute Misfortune, Animals, Buoyancy, Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan, Hotel Mumbai, I Am Mother, Judy and Punch, The King, The Nightingale, Palm Beach, Ride like a Girl, Storm Boy and Top End Wedding

Don't miss your chance to see Australia's biggest stars on the red carpet. For more information on how to purchase tickets for the 2019 AACTA Awards presented by Foxtel, visit their website.
