Jazz musician Gregory Porter is celebrating the release of Take Me to the Ally, the much-anticipated follow-up to his 2013 debut Liquid Spirit, with a performance at Byron Bay Bluesfest this April.
To top off his tour, Porter will take over the Enmore Theatre with a performance of his most famous jazz hits and old-school soul numbers. His latest release features a version of the track ‘Holding On’ which Porter co-wrote and recorded with UK electronica act Disclosure, a song that has brought Porter’s genre-straddling baritone voice to a brand new audience.
