Like salt and chocolate-chip cookies or peanut butter and jam (really!), things don't have to be the same in order to go together perfectly. Blues and soul band the Teskey Brothers are teaming up with the classical musicians at Orchestra Victoria for a performance like no other.
The multi-ARIA-winning band from Warrandyte will be backed by a whopping 45-piece orchestra for a performance under the stars at Sidney Myer Music Bowl as part of the Live at the Bowl summer series. The performance is in celebration of live album 'Live at Hamer Hall', which was released on December 3 and reimagined many of the Teskey Brothers' songs with orchestral arrangements.
Also on the bill are Emma Donovan and the Putbacks as special guests.
