Celebrate the Jungle Collective's first birthday in style – by taking home a new ferny friend for free

It seems like just yesterday that the leaf-loving Jungle Collective was setting up for its very first indoor plant sale in its Abbotsford warehouse. A whole 12 months have flown by since then, however, and the Jungle Collective is ready to celebrate its first birthday the best way it knows how – by giving away lots and lots of plants.

Rock up to the Studley Street warehouse on Saturday, October 13 to party down plant-style for the Jungle Collective's first birthday bash. Even though it's the Jungle Collective's birthday you could be the one taking home a gift, with the collective giving away 100 plants for free to the first 100 customers through their doors.

To be eligible to take home a new leafy mate (we've been advised it will be a beautifully patterned 130mm Maranta Green Prayer plant) you'll have to spend $10 in store and be one of the first 100 customers to do so. Even if you sleep in you can still score some birthday savings. Rock up wearing birthday gear like balloons, party hats confetti and the like (not your birthday suit please) for a $5 discount.

As usual, the bohemian-style warehouse will be awash with stacks of plants such as fiddle leafs, monstera, giant birds of paradise, pileas, rubber figs, hanging plants, bangalow palms and plenty of ferns. The team will also be sourcing some more unusual plants for the sale and the regular party tunes will be pumping. Can't make it Saturday? No worries – the Jungle Collective is hosting a more intimate sale the following day (Sunday, October 14) to re-home as many plants leftover from Saturday. Yes, there will be a discount.

In addition to the sea of plants, the first birthday bash will have designer pots, an on-site horticulturist to answer questions, plenty of parking and EFTPOS facilities. Bring a box or two to carry home your new plant pals.
