Coming in hot following the massive success of the event in Perth, New South Wales' distillery Archie Rose is hosting the Melbourne iteration of Hot Gin Terrace on Thursday, August 11 – taking you on a sensory gin experience like no other. Expect gin with a twist, as the Archie Rose team creates concoctions of gin-based cocktails heated with a red hot poker, a technique taken straight from the history books.
If the gin isn’t enough to warm you up (disclaimer: it’s pretty hot), there will also be heaters and woollen blankets to make sure you’re kept adequately toasty.
Tickets are just $49, and cover a hot G&T on arrival, a brief history lesson from the hosts, access to a curated menu of bespoke hot cocktails and an Archie Rose enamel mug and recipe card.
